1st situation:
There was a truck holding oil. The oil spilled all over the highway. As a result of that, a car slid on the oil and caused a ten car pile up.
In this situation whos fault is this?
2nd situation:
A car on the highway hit the oil truck and caused the oil to spill. After that another car slid on the oil and caused a ten care pile up.
Whos fault is it?

It is most defnitely the oil spillers faulkt! They shouldve not let that happen because it made all these people crash.
it is the truck drivers
In the first situation it is the truck drivers situation for maybe not keeping the oil safe from falling out and in the second situation it is the car driver for running into the truck!
1st situation:
It's the truck's fault! They should have had it more secure!
2nd situation:
It's the first cars fault! DUH!!!!!
For the first we think the manufactures of the truck should pay because they have faulty designs.
For the second case the car that hit the oil truck because he should have been paying better attention to the road and what was in front of him.

i think if the driver could have done something to prevent the spill then it would be his fault. . . we need more information.
What if the man driving the oil truck had a heart attack and lost control. then is it his fault when he causes a pileup?
2nd case
it is the person who hit the oil trucks fault
Well if he had a heart attack it is not his fault. but if he doesnt then it is his fault!
2nd: The first drivers fault.
in the first situation it is the guy drving the truck with the oil
first situation-oil truck is responsible. second time, its' the car who hit the truck's fault
