Yael's Dog

Yael's dog ran through mud, then the dog went to the neighbors house, who opened theb dor for the dog, and got mud all over the expensive Persian rug. Is Yael responsible?

Yael is somewhat responsible because she needs to control her dog better and teach him not to run into peoples houses

Rabbi Me-myself-andI says that unfortunately Yael is responsible because the dog belongs to her.

no because The neighbors should have not opened the door for the dog. They saw that he was dirty.

It is the owner's fault because he shouldn't have opened the door for the dog if he had an expensive Persian rug in a place where the dog could get it.

No. Why would the neighbor open the door for a muddy dog?

Rabbi Marshmallow says that it is the neighbor's fault. They should have seen that the dog was dirty and not let Yael's dog inside.

Rabbi Marshmallow says that it is the dog's fault if the dog is an amazing, incredible, mind reading dog. If not? Not the dog's fault!!!!
